About Us

This blog is dedicated to all the 20-somethings whose lives aren’t turning out the way they’d planned.

To all those whose parents and teachers spent years urging them to ‘follow your dreams’ and ‘do what you love,’ only to get out of college and find that it takes luck and perseverance just to find a decent paying job, period—let alone the job of your dreams. To all those who went to college because ‘You don’t want to flip burgers for the rest of your life,’ and who now are flipping burgers with a massive college debt to pay off, because that’s what jobs are available. To those who found that the self-esteem preached in schools isn’t actually enough to cure real, serious psychological issues, such as anxiety and depression.

This blog is for you and for me and for all of us, with a message.

We’re going to make it.

The world looks very different from the way it did 20 years ago. Technology is evolving at a dizzying pace, and with it, society, culture, and interpersonal dynamics are changing. But you know what? We can do it.

We are the children of the tech boom. We’re used to rolling with new ideas, new ways of doing things. And we’re going to find out way through this. We’re going to survive. We’re going to take our place. Maybe it’ll take us a little longer than it took our parents’ generation. But that’s okay.

Because the best thing about this generation is that we care. We’re used to change; we’ve hardly known anything else. We’re used to meeting new people, new ideas. We believe in progress. We believe in development. We believe in responsibility. We believe in changing what doesn’t work.

And we are going to take our place. And with it? We’re going to change the world.
